19 Nov WCME Breaking News-Bath Shooting Victim Dies
Chelsea Jones, the young woman from Thomaston shot in the parking lot of Shaw’s supermarket in Bath Monday afternoon has died. An autopsy is scheduled tomorrow at the state medical examiner’s Office. State and Bath Police continue to investigate the circumstances of the shooting–believed to be accidental–but they also don’t appear to be ruling out charges, and say they are attempting to pinpoint the circumstances under which the shooting occurred.
Chelsea was shot with a 9mm Taurus handgun by her fiancé, Dylan Grubbs, also of Thomaston. The couple had driven to the Shaw’s Supermarket parking lot to meet up with a man to sell the gun.
