Guy Lebida is a former Sagadahoc County Republican chair, who has TWICE defeated incumbent Republican state legislators in primary elections–only to lose the subsequent general election.
But his latest loss was by a margin of only 55 votes–to Democrat Kilton Webb in Maine House District 98 covering Durham and Pownal, as well as parts of Lisbon, Bowdoin and Topsham.
He’s a staunch and religious conservative who also, in 2016, expressed concern about the rise of Donald Trump as the Republican Party’s leader.
