The Black Lives Matter Interview

On the Monday June 8 WCME Midcoast Morning Buzz, two men who come from very different places in this life, but who have come to know and respect one another over the past week. A relationship formed in the aftermath of the confrontational Black Lives Matter demonstration outside the Brunswick police station on the last evening in May–a demonstration that police commander Mark Waltz says contained the tensest moments of his 22-year career with the Brunswick PD.

You will hear in this interview from Mark Waltz AND from Toby Holton, a Brunswick resident and local leader of Black Lives Matter, who is credited by Mark Waltz with notably defusing tension at the demonstration.
