The federal government is discontinuing a $4.5 million grant program for Maine Sea Grant, one of the state’s major fishery organizations, as one of the first cuts in President Trump’s efforts to slash budgets.
Ben and others, including all four members of Maine’s congressional delegation hope to see this move rescinded.
