Jim Bleikamp on the Settlement of the Brunswick School Bullying Lawsuit

Jim Bleikamp here with some comments that I can’t hold back in the wake of the settlement of a long-running lawsuit against the town of Brunswick, the school department, and against Brunswick Junior High School principal Walter Wallace. A lawsuit brought by a former student who claims he was harshly bullied and even sexually abused at the junior high.

For reasons I will explain, it’s a situation that has touched us at WCME.

You may not agree with what I say. And that’s ok, because more than anything else, I am hoping to begin a much-needed community conversation that goes straight to the heart and soul of the Brunswick school system.
