The legislature’s investigative committee has voted 12-0–a unanimous vote–to undertake a probe of Governor LePage’s threat to cut off state funding to the Good Will Hinckley School for at-risk kids, if the school did not withdraw a job offer to Mark Eves, the Democratic speaker of the House of Representatives.
LePage critics are calling it blackmail and some are demanding impeachment.
Brunswick senator Stan Gerzofsky, a member of the investigative committee, was a guest today on WCME’s Midcoast Morning Buzz.
