Barbara Krause on the WCME Midcoast Morning Buzz

Barbara grew up in Freeport, starred on the 1976 state champion Freeport girls basketball team. She also scored a thousand points in her Freeport career, but was never recognized for that achievement in the early days of girls sports in Maine.

Barbara went on to basketball stardom at Bowdoin College and Duke University, and is also an accomplished attorney.

She’s back in Freeport to be honored tonight along with the rest of the 1976 championship team, and this morning she was on the WCME Midcoast Morning Buzz.
