Tense Moments at Brunswick Landing

In the end there were no injuries and no damage to the aircraft, but there were some nervous moments at Brunswick Landing today when a U-S Navy Blue Angel Jet slid off the runway in the midst of icy conditions. The plane was in town as a part of efforts to promote an appearance by the elite Blue Angel jet flying team at next summer’s Great State of Maine Air show. That show will be held over the Labor Day weekend at Brunswick Landing.
