Scott and McCann are Bowdoin students and also activists in efforts to stop President Trump’s nomination of Brett Kavanaugh to serve as a supreme court judge. They also took part in a rally on Friday outside the Portland office of Senator Susan Collins, where they were hoping to bring Collins and her potential swing vote on the nomination to their side.
