25 Feb Brunswick Bank Robbery Arrest
In Brunswick, a break in the robbery of the Bank of Maine on Maine Street a week ago today, with the arrest of a suspect 20-year-old Brian Lamphere of Perrault Way in Brunswick is said to have walked into the bank with a neck warmer covering his face and to have flashed a handgun before taking off in a Saab with an undisclosed amount of cash. He was apparently arrested without incident and police credit bank security measures and teller observations for helping to locate the suspect. Lamphere is now at the Cumberland County Jail with bail set at 20 thousand dollars. He’ll appear in court in April.
