30 Aug Breaking from WCME News 9: LePage May Leave
A new sign that the door may be closing on Paul LePage’s governorship, with LePage today telling a Bangor radio station that he may not finish his second term, after increasing pressure from both Democrats and from fellow Republicans. The governor says he’s looking at all options and says some things he’s been asked to do are beyond his ability and says if he’s lost his ability to help Maine people, maybe it’s time to move on.
House Republicans are due to meet this evening to talk about LePage. Democrats say he should step down.
