16 May Breaking from WCME: Brunswick Stabbing Update
Brunswick police have updated their investigation of the Sunday stabbing of an Ohio man at 19 Market Lane in the near-downtown area where police say they have served a search warrant and recovered certain evidence. Police also say the weapon used in the assault has been located at a separate location, and they say it’s important to note that this was a targeted assault and NOT a random act.
Police are also identifying two suspects–both Brunswick residents–43-year-old Robert McKenney of Pleasant Street and 38-year-old Wendell Casler of Oak Street.
The 39-year-old victim whose name is still not released continues to recover from stab wounds to the chest and arm at Maine Medical Center in Portland.
