Breaking: Child Porn Arrest in Freeport

In Freeport, the arrest of a man at his home at 252 Lower Flying Point Road, on a charge of possessing child pornography.

44-year-old Gerald White, an art teacher at Portland High School, has been taken to the Cumberland County Jail. His computer was seized by state police, who say they found dozens of images of children, but none believed to be from Maine. The investigation of White is said to have begun after police received a tip.
