It is a simple fact of life that the WCME Midcoast Morning Buzz is made better once a month by the appearance of Brunswick Police Chief Scott Stewart. We covered quite a bit of subject matter with the chief today, including the Brunswick police involvement in helping to deal with the aftermath of last week’s double homocide in Bath, domestic violence issues, and helping to make a troubled intersection safer.
It’s also a new day with a new dog for Brunswick Police–meet Rio, who replaces the recently deceased Brock. Rio is a one-year-old shepherd who has just begun to earn his certifications along with his partner, Officer Chris Wolongevicz, who will soon be hitting the road together.
If you missed today’s chat with the chief on The Buzz, it is right here.
