Bowdoin Sunrise Endorses Sanders

The Sunrise movement is a growing national coalition of young people battling climate change and also promoting the creation of “green jobs.” In Brunswick, the Bowdoin College chapter of Sunrise was recently successful in convincing the Brunswick Town Council to go on record with a resolution proclaiming its attention to climate change on an ongoing basis.

After an internal debate last month on the question of whether to endorse a presidential candidate, Sunrise endorsed Bernie Sanders.
