10 Apr Breaking from WCME: Fire in Brunswick
No injuries this evening in a fire that destroyed a vacant building on property owned by Central Maine Power near Route 1 in Brunswick in the vicinity of the Bath Iron Works Harding plant.
No word yet on the cause of the fire. The firefighting effort prompted the detour of northbound Route 1 just north of Cooks Corner for a considerable length of time. Traffic is once again flowing normally in that location.
