08 Dec Mask-Wearing Suspects Busted in Bath
Two young men living Bath, believed to have been wearing Guy Fawkes masks while they vandalized the Huse School Building on Andrews Road in Bath, are now in custody. Police have charged the pair with felony counts of burglary and criminal mischief in the incident, which happened in late October, when over twenty thousand dollars of damage is believed to have been done–with windows and doors smashed.
The suspects face up to five years in prison on each count and have been released on unsecured bail from the regional jail in Wiscasset. Bath police credit the community for what they believe to be the solving of the case, and say they received a number of citizen tips stemming from media publicity about the incident.
